Skill Development at Swayyam Mahila Trust

Empowering Through Skills. Building FuturesEmpowering Through Skills. Building Futures

At Swayyam Mahila Trust, we believe skill development is a powerful tool for self-reliance and social change. Our training programs are designed to address the unique needs of women, youth, and marginalised individuals across urban, rural, and tribal regions.

We bridge the gap between aspiration and opportunity by offering accessible, practical, and certified training that empowers individuals to thrive in today’s dynamic world.

Our Key Skill Development Initiatives:

  1. Certified Vocational Courses
We provide government-recognised and industry-relevant training in various trades such as tailoring, beauty & wellness, digital literacy, and handicraft production. Participants not only gain valuable skills but also receive certification to support employment or entrepreneurship.
  2. POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) Training
As a certified POSH trainer, our founder leads structured awareness and compliance sessions for employees across organised and unorganised sectors. We also conduct POSH sensitisation for domestic workers, youth, and community groups to foster safer environments.
  3. Train the Trainer Program
We equip aspiring educators, facilitators, and volunteers with the tools and techniques needed to deliver high-impact training in their communities. Our TTT program covers pedagogy, facilitation skills, and subject-specific modules to create a ripple effect of learning.
  4. Skill-to-Sustain Model
We connect trained individuals—especially specially-abled and underprivileged women—to real livelihood opportunities by collaborating with CSR partners and ethical marketplaces. We help promote and sell their handmade products, enabling long-term economic empowerment.
